9:32 pm	tampabaymuse.com officially launched Tampabaymuse.com officially launches on October 1st. What: Tampa Bay Muse is a free Internet resource available to local artists, musicians, galleries, venues and others to promote local culture in the Tampa Bay Area( Hillsborough, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties). Our web page includes an easy to use monthly calendar of events, as well as listings for local artisans and local web pages. Why: Tampabaymuse.com is the brainchild of local arts supporter/participant, Vinnie Blesi, who tired of looking through three different print publications and confusing, incomplete, and ad-laden websites to find out what was happening in the Tampa Bay area. Yearning for a one-stop solution to this problem, he decided to create tampabaymuse.com to fill this void. Tampa Bay Muse has two goals in mind: to provide artistic support to the community and not put us into bankruptcy. What Can You Do: 1) Feel free to use our website to find local culture and support it. 2) If you are a member of the local arts and music scene send us your local events to submit@tampabaymuse.com. During our testing period we have received positive responses from the arts and film community, however the local music community has yet to embrace us. Ultimately this page will be what the local community makes it in to. We would love to see more local musicians/bands send us their events to list. If not it will become a community to support the arts, theater and film in the area. It is your call. 3) We will not deluge you with ad banners or pop up ads. The only ads are a small column of text Google Ads. If you wish to support us you can make a Paypal donation, buy a t-shirt(coming soon), or if you see a Google ad that interests you please click on it. 4) Help spread the word. Let your friends and enemies alike know that tampabaymuse.com is the place to find out what is happening in Tampa Bay.. 5) We also have an Internet radio station playing alternative music from the late 70's to now.
